Be Vigilant!
Just after I was conned into a pitfall wasting some money recently I again find a lot of these junk mails promising huge sums of money from overseas to pay to me from hideous websites involving millions of dollar worth of wealth for grab if I want to and give my details of account numbers, bank name and other personal information to claim the so-called legacy left by distant relatives. All these are certainly job of the con men who want to trap unknowing people into such pitfall leading to great loss and tragedy. Let's all be very careful. Delete all such unwarranted emails without even opening them.

Beware of Conmen In The Internet!
The other day when I was surfing the Internet checking emails, I was attracted by an active advertisement offering to give away Ipad for answering some easy questions. I clicked on it and then was told to give them my hand phone number which I did. Then I was given some easy questions such as the capital of Egypt or the longest river of the world and when I had finished answering quite a number of them, then came harder questions and naturally I failed. The message encouraged me to continue to answer more questions urging on and on until I sent them nearly 70 Sm's and finally I gave up. But one thing I didn't realise it was a con man's job and at the end of the month I was charged over RM300 because each SM'S sent to that special number cost $4.--. I think I am not the only one who met with such misfortune of being fooled into such scandalous trap. I therefore warn all Internet surfers to be forewarned of such advertisements popping out at anytime. I think such con men should be exposed and banned for using Internet to cheat people. Never click on such advertisements offering free hand phones, ipads and other luring things or even girls.

An Unbiased Outlook
After seeing the scandalous reports of corruption and abuse of powers of the high officials of a socialist country, I now feel that it is important that we common people should be more sophisticated and open-minded in judging things and people. It is not right to brand people of one camp as black or the other camp as white just because of their being in the wrong camp. In fact now the idea of the cold world is very much outdated as the racialists in our country find harder and harder to sell their wares. We really need to find out the truth about things and the people by scrutinising them with open mind and scientific attitude not emotionally so as to get a unbiased picture to be fair and just. This attitude would prevent corruption and abuse of power in the ruling class and this applies to those in the socialist camp.

Covering The Heaven with Thy Palm
Some people are still trying to fool the common populace with their lies and sweet talks. When all their corruption acts and their abuse of powers are uncovered by the opposition, they s till seek to whitewash their dirty faces with nonsensical talks and slogans. They dare to threaten people with bloodbaths and the May Tragedy, yet in the next instant they try to deny all!? What a shame on them! Tell them we are awakened and enlightened masses, no fools anymore. Let us sweep them off and end them in the rubbish dump or the South China Sea.

Time & Tide Wait For No Man
While the ruling clique is still daydreaming and tries to repeat using the old dirty tricks of stirring up racial hatred and tension, the ordinary people are waking up and have become outspoken beyond expectation. You would be surprised to hear the dissenting voices from Sabah complaining of the hideous sum of money supposed to be political donation and they tried to ask why their branches have no share!? Now there is a woman from the down-trodden party bravely fought the Boss saying that she would not step down as what she did was for the common good of the people and greeting to the opposition members could not constitute any sin. Anyway, we can see that the time has changed and Malaysia will undergo a drastic change for the better . Only those ostriches in the ruling clique still think that there would not be any change as they are afraid of change which would cause them to lose their vested interests and high , lucrative positions. But this time the hurricane would bring drastic changes and they would be soon swept away into the Ocean.

Abuse of Powers
It is time to seek fresh mandate from the people and we wonder how they think they can fresh mandate as they have time and again abused the powers from the voters. This is not the first time, they have abused the powers numerous times for over half a century. It is too long in power that they take things for granted and suppose people are fools and easily bribed or threatened into submission. No this time men, we can see everywhere signs of unrest and dissatisfaction. Small people from everywhere all learn of the big and small scandals and all the spoils of corruption too horrible to narrate. As we read in the Tales of two cities that this is the best of times and the worst of times and the last struggle , we will now break off the iron shackles and chains, and be free again after such a long long corrupt rule!

Might Speaks Louder Than Words
I think it is especially true in the conflict in the Middle East. It seems every time there is so called conflicts, the Palestinians are always the losers and victims. Although the land now occupied by Palestinians had been once inhabited by the Jews but due to historical reasons, it is unfair to drive the long time inhabitants there from their long established homes to give way to the Israelites for the building of their Zionists homeland. If this can be done then the Red Indians in the American continents should take back all the North and South Americas and drive out all white men to build a United States of Red Indians. The United States being supported by the richest Israelites in their State has to carry out their Bosses' wishes and no American President can survive without the monetary support of the richest elites in their own country who are no other than the Jews. It is unfair to the Palestinians all along so that we have the terrorists' bombing in the United States and elsewhere because the war machines of the US and their allies are too strong for the poor Palestinians so that they can only use human bombs, car bombs and plane bombs...... When the powerful countries can bully them with war machines, they can only fight with whatever they have in their hands. They are forced to be terrorists it seems. Thence talking of world peace is a luxury and mockery!

Money Isn't Everything
Money is very important and with it you can go a long way in life but it does not mean money is all powerful because there are still a lot of things that money can't play any part at all. When you have come to a stage where you have lots and lots of money you will find that money can't do very much in many things. That is why some people after getting riches turn to religions for consolation and to find the meaning of life therein. Well, there is one big reason that we should not put too much emphasis on making money especially not at the expense of losing our own principles and our conscience. Life means more to us than just wealth and while we may not find the meaning of life so easily it certainly mean wealth alone can solve all.

No Worry At All
Worry makes us old and happiness refresh us spiritually and physically to face this reality. After going all out to make studies and talking to people, I now find that the world especially this part of the world is changing fast and before we know it we are seeing twilight in the east and there are many signs that people have waken up and they are no more confused and perplexed because they are now no fools. Though we are intellectuals and well-informed yet we ourselves seem not to be able catch up with the time to follow the fast tempo of change in this country. Before we realise it we would soon be caught in a whirlpool of change to our world beyond recognition. It seems we have to adapt to the changing world as best we can or else we would be left behind.

The Calmnest Before The Storm
While our outside world is changing fast with all the revolutions, rebellions and demonstrations many a corrupt governments are toppled and new governements are set up. We are a relatively calm and peaceful country and it seems we all are satisfied with our system but on close watch and analysis, we would find that ours is a peaceful outlook with a very strong under current which would soon erupt and sweep away all the debris and rotten regime once and for all. Enough is enough, so it is time that we all give a hand in this great task of cutting down the half a century old termite ridden tree and let us all rejoice in the coming blue sky and the bright Sun!

No Quarrel With Beliefs?
Not long ago, I quarrelled with a friend on her belief and she was so infuriated by me for categorically out ruling the existence of her religious belief and the existence of such thing as God etc she broke of our friendship and even cursed me for disturbing her pious thoughts still in her mourning period for her late mother. While I did apologise for my untimely arguments, I still maintain my atheist stand. In fact after my explanation for my holding to my principles and the intention being not to hurt her she finally accepted and we are good friends again. It must be pointed out that I have many friends, colleagues, co-workers, neighbours and acquaintances who are devoted Christians or Buddhists etc, I also respect them for their beliefs and many of them are practising the universal love for fellow beings and many of them are really doing good for whatever reason which I do not bother to enquire into. What I hold in my own belief is the principle that we should not be misled by hearsay and unproven tales especially the traditional fairy tales and the archaic superstitions. My principle is just simple and straight forward; I only believe the truth and truth logically and scientifically proven. Although you may believe in all those religions without harm yet it is a folly to think that you can get what you want from Heaven by praying piously. It is also a waste of time and resources to dig into the ancient fairy tales just to find any trace of the crossing of the Red Sea etc. Is it not better to do research into the possibility of transforming the micro-organisms in the oceans into food for the benefit of mankind?

A Pitiable Old Guy
My friend is indeed a pitiable man as he has lost his only son who was kidnapped many years ago and still unaccounted for. His wife turned into vegetable woman after a serious car accident. The only comfort to him is the welcoming back of his adopted son who graduated with a medical degree from Russia. Well, it would be a very happy life only if there is no twist to his fate. He recently alienated his adopted son simply because he does not like the girl friend and they fought a cold war because of this. I advised him not to interfere with his love affair which is his personal choice and it certainly would worsen their relationship because of his stubborn attitude. He finally listened to me and at least he would not try to openly quarrel with the son. I feel at last he has seen to it that he should not be over bearing in this delicate issue. I do hope their father-son relationship would be repaired for the good of their family.
What Is Wrong With Our World?
What is wrong with our world and economy? We read the news of people jumping down to commit suicide after their houses were being foreclosed by banks or financial institutions. Thiis happens everyday in badly hit Greece and followed by many others around the globe. What is wrong with our world? It seems communism can hardly find a solution to the crisis nor can capitalism, so what else?

My Own Experience
The problem of corruption has been very serious since time immemorial in this country and there is no need to hide this sad fact. I am ashamed to say that I also assisted in the corruption practice to get out of inconvenience and to speed out some matters. Although I had only paid out 10 ringgits to avoid being ticketed for a small traffic offence, I think it had enough that I have committed an offence that I myself abhore the most. Further my friend confided to me he had paid out 20,000 ringgits just to get his land being approved for sub-division for housing project. We as citizens should not only sit back and point accusing fingers at those corrupt officers instead we should do our part not to bribe them when we actively expose them. Let's all try to do our part in stamping out corrupt practices and weed out the corrupt officials no matter how senior they may be!

Fidelity Should Be Observed
I think it very abnormal that the badminton champion should neglect his father in his happy and grand marriage inviting all the dignitaries including the highest heads of the government. We do not know what has transpired in his family or whatever has happened to their father-son relationship but I see no reason why he was not invited . This is a very bad example to our Chinese tradition of filial loyalty and greatly damage his image in our country men's hearts. It certainly is the duty of the son to explain this matter.

Change Of Thinking & Mentality
We now have witnessed another change in USA and that is none other than the racial bias. You would agree that it is unthinkable for any negro to get elected in USA in the olden times in USA but now he has not only been elected by re-elected to rule for another term against a white man. It is a great change of thinking in USA and also more or less affecting other countries. It would no surprise us to say that a non-Malay can be elected to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia in time to come and we would not be surprised it could even be the next prime minister you bet. Who would ever think that the all powerful UMNO now seems not to able to command the loyalty of their own race? When the country is apparently being misruled and the nationals' interest jeopardised, naturally people would rethink and change their mentality for better survival and struggle to improve their future and that of their offspring. So those in power have to do some hard thinking if they still daydream and try to rack in as much loot as possible they would soon be kicked out.

Dreams
All of us have dreams; daydreams, night dreams and wild dreams. We often have all sorts of ideals and fancies but at the end there is no action and nothing is achieved. Well lots of people have their fanciful young days and young dreams but very few can carry out their ideals. In the end when they sit down to recollect and reminiscence, they would finally find they have not actually contributed much to the society and although they have joined in heated arguments on how to change the society yet they themselves have nothing more than paying lip service to the society. When too old to even utilise their wealth they wonder what the purpose of life is. So while there is still time why not apply some effort and time for the service of the society to make it a better place for the future generations.

Do We Have The Right To Know?
40 million ringgits is not a small sum. Do we have any right to know how this big sum comes about and who is the person(s) , the donors or any outsiders or even foreigners or foreign countries being so generous as to donate to the authority in power? Even simpletons know that the donors must have a purpose or many purposes. It is very very important to be transparent in this or otherwise we naturally think that it is fishy business or under table exchange etc. Is it not a good advice to those who want to ask for another term?

No Shame?
We all heard about a king being fooled by some crafty tailor to wear a see through dress to go round the kingdom and he was not ashamed at all as nobody dared to say the truth that he was naked. Now we have a modern King who was not ashamed because he was assured by his henchmen that people could not see what he had done: stealing huge amount of money from the national treasury by way of outright donations, contributions, commissions , over-riding commissions, service fees and a lot of other fees you name it they have it. When he was cheated by his servants that the people around were all blind and ignorant enough and it was perfectly safe so long as he could give out some small particles of sweets or carrots, he would still be honoured as the kind and merciful King of the modern time. So we are seeing the naked King again in our modern drama.

Big Means No Case?
The other day, one person was jailed and fined for accepting RM10.- bribe but now we have a big man carrying RM40 millions apparently some sort of contribution or aid or donations or whatever you may name it arrested outside this country but there is no case to answer for and this is a big man with big purpose? What can you say? I don't have any idea....

Cowgate?
It is very funny that we have just witnessed some puppet shows that leave most people more than perplexed that they are just staging shows with no sincerity . Why then should these investigations be carried out? Well just for show so that we would be fooled to believe them. But do you think voters would believe them any more? Well you know only too well they would be very very disappointed this time!

A Fairy Tale
In this modern fairy tale, we have a prince who married a princess and all would be well as they would be expected to live together happily ever after. But somehow or other the prince besides having lots of girl friends and concubines recently was attracted to a very beautiful lady and according to their customs, he could just ask the wife to get out of the house. But this wife was not a simple kampong girl and she was very angry that her husband was not faithful to her and moreover wanted to kick her out. She went to a lawyer who told her she could sue for divorce and get half share of the prince's properties which according to her came to billions of ringgits. Now that the prince was not willing to negotiate and ignored all requests for settlement. Finally the case was put to the open court and with that the whole lots of details of wealth became an open secret and the wealth of the prince's family became a topic of nine years' wonder and hot topic of the towns and kampongs. Whatever was revealed in the open court would tantamount to clear and iron evidence when accepted by the court. When it came to the richest man of Asean, who else could dispute the status of the prince and his father. Well the fairy tale is still just the beginning and people would be very interested as to the outcome of this legal battle as it involved billions and billions of ringgits in hard cash and much more in properties around the globe. So somebody must be real of good substance to be Abie to amass wealth second to none in the whole of Southeast Asia. God bless the King!

Americans Should Be Blamed For Messing up Diaoyu islands
From the history, we now learnt that the USA has made a big blunder by handing over the Diayu Islands to Japanese after the 2nd world war in the absence of Chiang Kai Sek, the then head of the Republic of China. Now they pretend to be neutral and would not take any part in the dispute when they can simply admit their mistake and rectify it by returning the islands to China or Taiwan. I think when the people of the world can force the Japanese to return the islands to China by boycotting Japanese goods, I think it is high time that all Chinese should start to boycott American goods to force Obama to ratify the mistake.

Billions of Ringgits Any Case?
I am too old perhaps and just could not figure out how a man can amass up to billions of ringgits from a very short period of ten over years. He was born with a silver spoon no doubt but being an off-spring of a powerful ruling clique does not make him so rich unless he can print money. His father is just a high civil servant and the income is limited. The pay of the ministers of our country is very much lower than Singapore but here is a superstar of a young man with billions of ringgits all to his name and I wonder how he can explain his wealth to the relevant authorities unless he happens to be above all laws , belonging to the royal family or Tuns. Well it would be interesting to see how he can away with the huge and unexplainable wealth.

The Richest Man In The State
We have now an international organisation presenting black and white evidences of who the richest man is and how he embezzled all the wealth and that organisation has already presented officially all the evidences to the relevant authorities to investigate and now the ball is at the feet of the various relevant authorities and we wonder how long it will take to make investigations or whether they are going to take any action at all. It is strange that in this world we still have such clearly corrupted rulers free to lay his hands at everything in the State and it seems unstoppable indeed. Corrupt people never learn from history nor can they remember the latest events of the downfalls of all the corrupt rulers elsewhere. That is why there seems to be only force and revolution can expose them and bring them to justice!

Bankrupt?
We are now facing a dangerous situation in which we may all come out bankrupt because we have too much debts and can be as bad as any country in EU unable to solve its economic problems. Naturally when you are too much indebted you would find it hard to make ends meet. Coupled with the crisis in other parts of the world which we are now witnessing we may soon find ourselves too in deep water. It is time to stop wasting our natural resources and national coffers and start making all efforts to sail this shaking boat in the rough waters. We need very hardworking and honest and sincerest political leaders to pilot our boat or else we would soon have to starve.

Respect From People Is Earned and Not inherent
Respect from the people should not be taken for granted and should be earned by faithful and dedicated service to the people. It is useless to punish your people for not paying respect since you have to work hard to earn it. When the leaders have been troubled by all the scandals of corruption and sinister plots and just trying by hook or by crook to suppress the people, then it is time that the future for the so-called leaders is doomed.

Minorities Have Rights Also
I think I would tend to agree with Auyang Wen Fon that there is nothing to stop the minorities to enjoy their human rights even if they are not the same as others. The religious people especially the Christian world is not sincere in their objection to the homosexuals by quoting the verses from the Bible whereas they dare not say anything against the other religion allowing their followers to take four wives. This is polygamy and certainly against human rights and dignity.

Helping the Warmongers?
The fact that America chose this time to wage a war exercise jointly with the Japanese is a clear sign that the USA is bent on siding with the aggressors and Obama has proved to be the enemy no one of all the right thinking people and the Chinese of the whole world regardless of their political allegiance. It is tantamount to assisting the off springs of the slave traders in their evil design to weaken the Chinese. You will see no justice in the American democracy at all and there is no more allusion on this. Let all just and right thinking people join together to condemn the shameful act of the American warlords.

Should Christians Take Part in Politics?
Some pastors are of the opinion that as religious leaders they should only talk in terms of religions and do not care about politics. I think this is very wrong because we are all part of the larger community of all kinds of people and we are all being subject to all the rules and constitution of the nation. Although you may say you don't care for politics but the politics will control you in many ways and in fact we are being forced to follow all the rules etc. So when the rulers are biased and unjust we have to go against them and we must not keep silent otherwise we would be seen to be part of the greedy regime. We have seen how an archbishop helped to topple the corrupt Marcos, we have seen other religious people have been joining the multitude to bring down many corrupt rulers in the Arab and Middle East countries so I see no reason why religious men can't take part in the just struggle to cleanse the nation of the sinful and corrupt leaders who have been sucking the blood of the country.

Say What You Like
Say what you like, all things love me. From every quarter of the country, we find good signs of wakening up to the new emerging forces of the popular voice, shake off the old shackles and live like men. No doubt people everywhere now know that they have been subject to all sorts of oppression, cheating, humiliation and what not under the establishment which has clearly decayed after so many years of absolute rule. From their own rank also come out many who are now enlightened and know the truth and the facts which set them free from the old tradition of following the chieftains and the headmen. I have talked to the rank and file and sense a great change of the attitude of people who no longer take things for granted and would not be afraid to expose the evil designs of the bad leaders. Their days are numbered.

A Promising Sign
We are witnessing a new air of growth in the opposition camp with the infusion of fresh young blood and this is really promising and healthy growth of the new emerging forces. We need all forces to push out the decaying reactionary establishment which though shaky still need all possible joint effort to push down.

Sportsmanship
I think the reaction of some people should be condemned as they posted rather critical comments and pictures just to ridicule Lee Chong Wei. I think it is time to remind that there should be sportsmanship in games and it is too much to expect someone to achieve gold medal and we should accept the fact that there are losers and winners in every competition and this is one of them. Certainly he should not be blamed for the failure as he has clearly displayed his skills and effort in this match. The presence of someone high up does not make any difference. I think a silver medal is good enough for medal scare country like ours. Lee has done his best and should be praised for his fighting spirit.

Welfare States?
It seems that some European countries cannot meet their financial commitments because they are paying too much to their citizens and public servants in all sorts of welfare and remunerations. In some they literally rob the rich and pay the poor or lazy folks. I do not insult the poor but only comment on those social parasites depending on their countries to feed them while not doing any work at all even when they are still fit and strong. In some extreme case they just indiscriminately engage in sexual relationship , some under aged as a result lots of children are born to such couples many out of wedlock causing heavy burden to the national treasury. Now it seems the problem is no more exploitation of the capitalists , there is room of rethinking and transformation in the isms to solve the social problems.

Illogical Argument
I think it very illogical to require would-be believer to read Bibles and understand the so-called truth before you are eligible to know more about Christianity. It is very absurd to declare that ours is the only true God and that the only argument is Jesus is the only perfect man god and that you have to trust him and everything will be alright. If their evangelism has not better logic and content, I think they will distance themselves from the multitude.

Must Travel
After having visited a few new places, I now feel it would be necessary to move around and get to know more places and people. We need to have a wider perspective in our outlook and we certainly would be curious to know more about how others are living in all parts of the world. The world is a family and we should learn to know more to be able to love them.

Free Strawberries any taker?
This is now midsummer in Sweden and some strawberries farm invite visitors to come to visit their farms to pick and choose from their farm on the spot. They can just pick and choose and freely sample their harvest . Even when they return with their harvest they are only charged for those they present themselves to the cash counter for payment at 55 kroners per kilo which is just the same as supermarket or other markets. There is no limit on what you can put into your mouths. Some young people can consume nearly two thirds of their picks and pay for one third. The average is normally about 50% down in the stomach so what you have to pay is already 50% cheaper plus the happiness of being on the spot witnessing the berries farm and the scenery there. It is really good fun!

Sweden
In Sweden, we can find that most of the places provide lanes for cyclists and pedestrians whereas highways provide special lanes for motorcyclists who must be envied by motorcyclists in our country where they have to ride very precariously squeezing between cars and other motor vehicles jamming the roads at peak hours. The provisions for parks, vacant spaces and different lanes make their areas allocated for housing much limited but the proper planning has enabled more healthy living with very rare traffic congestion and serious pollution. Then there is the ease of public transport facilities such as the buses, trams and trains etc. This is where we can learn from them. Furthermore, the rubbish is collected once a week for the rubbish not recyclable whereas the recyclable rubbish would only be collected once in two weeks. Householders have to sort out their rubbish properly and place in different bins or parts thereof. Big sized rubbish has to be carried by householders themselves at their own cost to some designated dump sites. But the biggest contrast lies in their way of rule. There is practically no case of corruption anywhere and this is waht we have to learn from them .

John Sung And His Sibu Tour
From a publication of the '' Recovered Diaries of John Sung'', I learnt things that made me more convinced than ever that the so-called dramatic, dynamic and sensational preachers are more sensational than realistic . It must be mentioned here that Dr.Sung had been confined in a mental hospital for nearly a year and it clearly showed that he was not in the right mind. Although he had got PH D in chemistry and was offered a good pay job in an university but he chose to be a devoted preacher with very little remuneration. Although he said he was doing the right thing in the eyes of the heavenly father yet I think it not right to neglect his duties as a husband and father to 4 kids. I feel it tragic that his wife was left alone with four kids and with very little financial support as his pay was almost nothing. This was the reason why his two children died of poverty and sickness. Furthermore in his diaries he described his sermons had been very successful based on the number of repentants and converts. The so-called converts etc were very superficial and unreliable as at the heat of the moment, many came out to repent and kneel before him to let him pray for them but it did not mean they were really converts. As for the people claimed to be cured by him just by praying, it was more sensational and could not actually stand the test of time . How was it possible for him to cure so many people just by praying and touching the heads? If it was true then the hospitals would be out of jobs and the doctors unwanted. Even Dr. Sii Sii Chew of Sibu at that time challenged him and asked him to get the cured persons to claim a reward of RM500 if they were really cured by his praying and clearly the Doctor Sii did not get any claim from any patient at all. In his diaries, he did mention some people committing sins such as adultery, gambling, drinking or alcoholic etc but the way he pin-pointed his greatest opponent Dr.Sii as having a sinful relationship with his own sister was highly vengeful and smacking of wilful retaliation and this is most undesirable in the case of a great preacher! To be fair to all parties, we would therefore give the benefit of doubt on this scandal to Dr.Sii unless there is any evidence or truth in the allegation.

The Change Taking Place
We must admit that our world is changing much faster than we can figure out what is happening. As we the past active elements in politics are growing old we have an impatient mind that is to see that we have a more fair and just society. The world around us is moving fast. I am not just saying the nuclear Holocaust of Japan, the earthquakes of Sumatra and Shichuan but rather the transforming of the old societies of the Arab world. No doubt this wind of change is sweeping the desert land of the Arab world but it also affects countries around the world in various ways. We have the great chance that we may still catch up with the time of change in our remaining golden years on earth. Don't just watch out and see like bystanders. All ye countrymen and women, do your part and push the rotten tree down ridding of all the termites and rats and parasites here in our country and we may yet see the twilight in the east. The east is red, ho.....

Why Migrate?
Quite a few people are now applying for migration to foreign countries , mainly those English speaking former Commonwealth countries. Why do they choose to migrate to other countries? There are many reasons such as misrule. oppressive atmosphere, archaic education system and so on and so forth. We still have such elements who try to stir up racial hatred stressing the bumiputra special status, the feudal powers and the general corrupt system etc. People normally do not just lightly migrate to other countries as migration from mother country is painful and need a lot of soul-searching and hard thinking. It is not that they don't love their motherland, it is rather that those up there do not perform their duties as administrators and abuse their mandate to such an extent that it is quite unbearable. It is important that those in power should seriously rethink their policies and biased attitude to try to do way with corruption and unite all races for the betterment of the motherland.

The Proper Way To Survive
Nowadays, it seems that survival is not a simple thing. We naturally have to live and prosper and we have to tread carefully on thin ice indeed. First there is the perpetual threat of cancer, heart problem and many other illnesses. If we are not careful we would fall in the battle for survival. Then there is the looming dark cloud of financial crisis which is real and imminent. Just see the countries like Greece , Spain and many others; we are left in the cauldron with no oar nor compass to guide us. If we are not careful and alert, we may end up with our money melting away like the ice. For the big problem of our country, we also have to keep watch on the state of affairs in the political arena. Don't depend on our politicians to deliver, they are mostly bent on making real good gains by corruption and wanton abuse of powers. We have to make sure we expose them and vote them out. If they play dirty and cling to their posts by hook and by crook, then we have to rise up and join the strong current of people's powers and chase them out by a show of the great power of the people just like the Arab countries namely,Libya,Egypt, and others- We are at the important period of great change which would bring us true freedom and democracy not meted out by the greedy political gangster but by our sweat and even blood. But we will be victorious as we fight for justice and human rights!

Dos and Don't For All Politicians
I think it high time that all politicians should think twice or many times before they jump on to the bandwagon.. Look before you leap man and woman, you better keep yourselves clean and not partake in the dirty murky pool of corruption and abuse of power for your self-interest. If you want money there are million ways to make money righteously. Do not think that you can get away with your cheating on people. Now more than ever we are at the moment of great transformation and change for better or worse and you can certainly see the tragic ends of the past corrupt political leaders the world over. Beginning with Marcos, Suharto, Kaddafi, Mubarak and many more to follow..... Just you wait and see. A rose is sweet by any other name and so the cow dung is no doubt smelly. Do not think the people will always be doped and fooled. Justice will always triumph in the end. If you cannot justify yourself well you better quit at the earliest moment to save your own skin from being lynched.
What A Big Joke!
When all the intrigues have been exposed and the evidences shown in daylight we would certainly ask why they could not find anything wrong with all the irregularities in that cow gate affair. People may be fooled sometimes but how they can be fooled all the times is a big question. Well things down cannot be undone or simply swept under the carpet. Be courageous and let people know the truth or they can never trust you again. Those in power should know better than just treating the underdogs as nothing more than a gullible group. It is a great pity to our nation indeed.

They Just Woke Up?
From the utterances of the ousted women leader and the former Mahua leader, it seems they just woke up to the ugly faces of bn and their former boss in Mahua. It is a good sign even though it may just be a very pale light from two smallest candles. Now the big current has swept over this side the the South China Sea,the former political activists should have long woken up to the fact that unless they repent and leave the dirty old man and his gang, they would be submerged in the current too.

A Joke?
It is a puzzle to find that a minister of the bn should form a new party professing to compete against a bn component party for the national seats. He has not even resigned from his post as yet to take up his new assignment. Apparently he has the full support of his grand old man and he despises the opponent in the bn component party because perhaps that former ally has been fed from his pa's bowl. Anyway, it is really comical and outright funny in our politics here in the East. You just smell the pungent copper smell and see how they are playing dirty with their ill-gotten wealth.

Great Men & Women
Now it is a time when we can see great men and women coming out from ordinary people who would not be so conspicuous or outstanding normally. But at this time when the wounded wild boars are trying to charge at the hunter, and when the rascals are being paid to take ignominious and base violent actions against just and beloved good men and women whose only wish is to clean the house of pests and vermin for the good of their future generations, we will witness more and more ordinary men and women coming out to support them. Beware the rascals and gangsters of the corrupt gangs , your days are numbered and the heroes and heroines are not alone in their struggle against the crumbling regimes!

Strong Support For Ambiga
I think it is time that we the silent majority have to let more people know that we are no more the silent ones. We have to let everybody know that when it comes to such brutal and callous acts, we strongly condemn the low and shameless deeds of all those who are apparently employed to make trouble to a most honourable lady of our country. When there appears to be very double standard by the related authority we have to strongly demand that it is only fair and just she should be protected from such open and savage harassment.

A Stupid Argument?
I just parted with a friend due to a quarrel on religious belief. She is a fervent christian while I am sort of atheist but liberal in talking of religious beliefs. We have talked of many subjects and I have been very candid with her not concealing anything and speak straight from my heart so to say. She has been very talkative and has been quite a good listener at times. But this time it involves the subject of belief in relation to a phenomenon in her mother's critical illness that led to her stressing her strong belief in God stating that there was an evil spirit which caused her mother's ear to produce strange noises and peculiar sound. I on my part strongly denied there was any evil spirit whatsoever and stressed my stand as an theist while she maintained there was evil spirit and that God exists and so on and so forth. In the heat of argument, she emphasised her viewpoint of God and everlasting life while I of course maintain my atheist stand until at last she broke off the argument by hanging up and thus ended our friendship right there. I don't regret it either because I still have to be honest to myself and to others in the matter of beliefs.

No Quarrels With Religions?
Is it a good policy to leave religions alone to avoid getting into troubles? I think it nearly the same as burying our heads in the sand. Nowadays, religious people are very active and aggressive in every corner of the earth. They seek to propagate their beliefs with great zeal and piety. I know many of these young people who really devote the best part of their lives into evangelism and sacrifice. Because of this, I think it time to go against the trend of wasting youth lives in pursuit of fruitless pilgrimages to such faith. Some extremists would even go so far as to load themselves with bombs and dynamites to blow themselves up in the midst of their enemies to go to heaven by fast lanes. It is time that we the more clear headed thinking more in terms of humanity and good sense to try to say lives from such follies and hopeless pursuits. In this respect we need to let the people know that the sermons and preaching are not based on fact nor logic. Wake up all men of religious faith and watch out lest you be destroyed this precious living instead of the promised perpetual life!

Bankrupt
I don't want to scare you but I think in the rate that things are going at this moment, I am afraid we may be facing bankruptcy soon. Big spending is simply allocated to cronies without any open tenders even though the projects are being handled very inefficiently wasting much time causing traffic jams etc., and we greatly wander where the big bonus comes from unless the cronies hand out some cash which comes from the treasury anyway. Mismanagement, corruption etc have now drained the nation dry and we may soon be in hot water even before 2020. A great pity that majority would still be able to live to witness this tragedy just because of the terribly greedy nature of some big-appetite bosses up there.

Fixed Deposit States?
Our East Malaysian States have been named as fixed deposit states of BN government and now it seems this statement needs a lot of modification and amendments because the fixed deposits are being eroded and overdrawn to the extent that the balances are very negligible and certainly cannot sustain the huge demand for additional payments which are not forthcoming at all. First we see the crumbling of the old faith in the urban areas, then come the mixed zones and now it is certainly a dangerous trend of the strong opposition support extending to the rural areas. People cannot be perpetually fooled by lies and threats nor even carrot and stick can help. All people of our two states have opened our eyes and see clearly who are those who have syphoned off so much of our natural resources and national treasury and who has abused their powers for so long. Corruption and misrule has to stop and let us choose who to trust for the new term!

A Poor Millionaire
Ah Tai is no doubt a millionaire or even in the rank of billionaire because his properties have appreciated greatly that he is now worth more than a billion. But it is a pity that he has now succumbed to a troublesome illness that has made his life not much worth living having to go for painful treatment for four hours four times a week. Being a widower, he has long ago been living a very much restricted life mostly confined to his own house and now to just his bed. Although he has made his own name well known to many having served in some clannish associations yet due to his quite secluded life he makes very few friends nor is he known for any philanthropic acts. He now regrets he has not been able to do anything beneficial to the community nor even to improve his own living conditions. That is why when there is chance try to do good to others as and when you can is a good policy.Living like a Shylock leaving all wealth to off springs who might not even appreciate or know how to use wisely. Therefore it would be very important to know what you want exactly in life. Make ourselves living proper lives and at least our existence would be beneficial to the community as a whole and not just live to eat.

Memory of Ngu King Lee
Ngu King Lee's life is no doubt a tragedy though he would have been a highly respected gentleman living a peaceful and happy family life. In the days of his struggle in the political field, he suffered greatly being subject to all sorts of pressures not only from his peers, but also from his family. Before he joined politics, he was a simple clerk in a council office. He was invited by the then mayor to join his bank and he could have just worked on until he retired with no much disruption at all. But due to the fire of leftist movement, he was also drawn into the struggle and thence there was no return path. He joined the open political party worked his way up active in politics and labour movement too. He was also chosen by the leftists in their underground activities as a leader in the open front. After the Brunei Incident, he was also detained in the detention camp. He was later released after the Sri Aman Peace Accord and went back to work in the bank. During this time,he had big trouble with his comrades and some chose to attack him for being weak and wavering in his stand. Being an honest and conscientious man he could not stand the fierce attacks of his erstwhile friends and comrades . Also at this time there was also rumour of his matrimonial relationship. So the last straw broke the camel's back, he chose to jump from the flat of the hospital he lodged and died instantly. Thus ended the life of an honest and kind man who should be respected for his sincerity and simple but true wishes for the betterment of the life of the people at heart.

Something Wrong With The System
When Bo Se Lai first started his resolute campaign of anti-corruption and anti-black Society, we naturally expected him to be going something worthy , namely to weep out the bad elements in the society, But as things now began to unfold it seems that many things are not what they appear to be. Bo unfortunately is himself a corrupt leader abusing his powers to make himself the king of Chung King. Surely we have found repeatedly that the present socialist system of China has a lot of room to improve and it is high time that there should a big clean up of the system in order to let it function in a real democratic manner since many lives have been sacrificed and enormous cost being caused by the revolution. The capitalist system of democracy is pseudo-democracy and on the other hand, the socialist system of new democracy has to be revamped and reformed in order to build a really fair and just society . There is still a long way to go. We all need to thinking hard on this.

Matter of Life and Death
When I heard my niece was having cancer of the colon, I was rather disturbed and uneasy. She is only in the late twenties and apparently it is a bad news. The main thing is she may have to change her life style carefully choosing the healthy food, stop taking junk food, oily and fatty foods. Because of her calling she has been sitting most of the time in work and at home she also does not move around much. Besides, she doesn't exercise much while eating a lot of junk food while viewing the T/V and computer. The earliest sign of constipation and difficulty in passing stool did not alert her to being anything untoward ending in more serious condition. Cancer is a deadly condition mostly and unless treated in early stages, it would often be fatal. So now the importance of keeping good health and live an active and health-conscious life is not to be taken lightly. On the contrary it is a matter of life and death. So beware !

A Fat Fat Cousin
My cousin has been my close friend since childhood. She is a jolly good girl of very good nature and good tempered. We developed a sort of puppy love as we were playing together all the time in the Japanese occupation time. We played games and even played our parts of bridegroom and bride ending in embracing and intimacy but there was no obscene act as we didn't even know about sex at that time. After the Japanese time, we met again in town and she grew up to be a pretty girl. She had become a bit shy and reserved. In school she did well and then later got a job in a finance company. It has been a long time since I met her and I found she has grown up rather plump. Her marriage life was not too happy partly due to her being very fat and the husband was not too faithful too. At the time of retirement, they divorced . She is now a lonely woman as her only daughter has married and moved to other state. It is a pity that I met her again looking very fat and lonely. She has to look after her mother who had stroke and bedridden. I advised her to try to loose weight at all cost but she said it was impossible as she had little happiness besides eating which is indeed a pity. It is just that some people do not care about health nor taking advice from others even at the point of life and death. When we see clearly they surely face very bleak future and downfall it is a great pain indeed.

They Never Learn
I think they never learn a lesson from the past history even the recent events in other countries or else they would not try to fool people by covering up the case of Zhou Min Foo and the cow affairs. The more they try to cover up the more people would like to know and to uncover to find the dirt under the carpet. When they still try to pull in the politically bankrupt comrade in arm they are actually poisoning their chances of being elected. It only adds fuels to the fire that would certainly condemn those corrupt gang to death in the coming election. They have very cunning foxes in their rank and surely they are aware of the deteriorating situation but perhaps they just cannot cope with that. That is why in other countries we have witnessed the fall of so many obsolete regimes. It is impossible to go against the will of the people!hahajin wordpress com

No Offense Intended
In the matter of superstition and beliefs, I think I have inaverdently offended some friends and acquantances but I must admit I am not doing it to please anybody or anyone in particular. I am doing it for the sole purpose of letting people see what is the real truth and fact. In the Dark Ages, religion had no doubt served to restore the old society from barbarian stage to a more orderly life. In the old days, many natural phenomena are taken as the angers of the unknown gods etc but it is too much to attribute our modern world to such crude and far-fetched reasoning or rather imaginings. That is why I want my friends to think for themselves and don't depend on the holy books to explain everything for you or even run your entire life on it. I know many of you are with good intention and live very spartan life and mean no harm to anybody but by your belief you are doing things contrary to the course of nature and development and cause the society to go backward. I do not think you have thought of this before and even if you have you just cannot help yourselves after you are sworn in to the sacred order. Whether you agree or not I still want you to know the truth and lead life without being drwan into such muddled pools of hardcore superstition!

How Can We Believe ?
I think we have to be honest in everything especially when it is a matter of vital importance namely our belief. How can we believe that the food will be dropped from heaven just by praying and how can the Red Sea open itself to allow the Israelites to walk across her? How can a virgin conceive and give birth to a baby without any sexual intercourse or artificial impregnation or insemination? Black is black and white is white. There is no compromise nor logical argument at all no matter whether you are the most notable doctor of philosophy or other topmost scholar. I just cannot make myself believe in the impossible! When you see so many people are involved in this God business, the believers, the worshippers, the ignominious amount of resources in manpower and others, you would see how much has been wasted in such fruitless pursuit. When we recollect the past dark ages and ancient times, we can understand the value of such beliefs when the knowledge of our world was still minimum . But with the progress with scientific researches and discoveries, it is ridiculous to say that quite a few are still holding the old beliefs on heavenly father etc. Wake up all men and women, don't waste your lives on such far-fetched and meaningless imaginings or even fantasies. Let us be more realistic and watch our every step to guard against any weaknesses and ignorance. Work hard to make honest living, keep all the rules for good health both spiritually and physically. We don't need a heavenly father to protect us nor is there such a thing as supernatural power or spirit. All those gods and spirits are just imaginations and creations of the so-called prophets etc. Believe in ourselves and be strong!

Against Religion?
I must say I am not anti-this or that because what I am against is not blind faith, the kind of faith that makes you believe that with this faith you don't need anything because whatever you want the heavenly father will provide. This is nonsense and very dangerous. What is the use of education, science and technology and all the studies if life. To think that once you believe in some sort of gods, goddess etc. everything can be solved is tantamount to declare yourself total surrender to a prison cut off from outside world believing in fantasies and imaginings. So I think we should all be logical in dealing with the problems of life or religions for that matter. Don't be just blind followers and believers without knowing the truth. Logical and cool thinking will guide you through life.
The Fact
It would be wonderful to recall that many years ago, I happened to receive a magazine called Truth which is actually the opposite of what it claims to be . It is actually one of the issues by religious bodies to spread the good news whereby you can choose to believe in something that you can get everlasting life and you can even can food or whatever you need just be praying truthfully. I feel it is all bullshits and you can never get anywhere by just praying and believing blindly. I say blindly because it is something unproven by any scientific experiments or any studies logically carried out. Although some believers argue that the belief is good and it is harmless to others because it preaches love and devotion to God pure and simple. But I think when the proposition is not proven you would be gravely misled by all sorts of half-truths and even lies. The worst thing is you would be barred from the reality and fact by the precondition that you just devote to God and leave everything in His hand. Thaat is why so many devoters are being cheated by con-men who professed to be God or His representatives. Some such cheats from Korea had repeated attracted many ladies to become their followers and sex-slaves without any salvation at all!

Where Is God?
Where is God when you are starving in countries torn by warlords and civil commotions? Where is God when your loved one has heart attack, car accident or any other disaster? You say God is over all powerful and everywhere, knowing everything and in charge of everything but you still need to say prayers etc. It is ridiculous and self-contradictory indeed. What is worse is that much money is spent on the religious schools and many young people are led into the folly of learning religious teachings that have retorgressive effect on searching for knowledge and truth as we know in religions you cannot ask questions and you have to believe without any doubt whatsoever. This is certainly contrary to the study of sciences and truths.

Is There Nothing Better To Do?
We are naturally fed up with some scoundrels ganged up to smear the good name of the opposition leader. It seems they are not having to argue or debate openly with him instead they just hide in the dark to play some intrigues and made up pictures or photoes. Well I think it is time that these rodents working in the dark for too long would never dare to come out to the open . We are now fed up with the base and low tactics of all sorts. Come out and show your faces if you have any. It is time that we have to realize that people want a healthy political atmosphere in which two or more parties can work in real democracy and good spirit. There should be no violence nor any dirty tactics. Let's all work for the day when we can really freely express our views and create a fair and just society.
