They Just Woke Up?

From the utterances of the ousted women leader and the former Mahua leader, it seems they just woke up to the ugly faces of bn and their former boss in Mahua.  It is a good sign even though it may just be a very pale light from two smallest candles. Now the big current has swept over this side the the South China Sea,the former political activists should have long woken up to the fact that unless they repent and leave the dirty old man and his gang, they would be submerged in the current too.

A Joke?

It is a puzzle to find that a minister of the bn should form a new party professing to compete against a bn component party for the national seats. He has not even resigned from his post as yet to take up his new assignment. Apparently he has the full support of his grand old man and he despises the opponent in the bn component party because perhaps that former ally has been fed from his pa's bowl. Anyway, it is really comical and outright funny in our politics here in the East. You just smell the pungent copper smell and see how they are playing dirty with their ill-gotten wealth.

Great Men & Women

Now it is a time when we can see great men and women coming out from ordinary people who would not be so conspicuous or outstanding normally. But at this time when the wounded wild boars are trying to charge at the hunter, and when the rascals are being paid to take ignominious and base violent actions against just and beloved good men and women whose only wish is to clean the house of pests and vermin for the good of their future generations, we will witness more and more ordinary men and women coming out to support them. Beware the rascals and gangsters of the corrupt gangs , your days are numbered and the heroes and heroines are not alone in their struggle against the crumbling regimes!

Strong Support For Ambiga

I think it is time that we the silent majority have to let more people know that we are no more the silent ones. We have to let everybody know that when it comes to such brutal and callous acts, we strongly condemn the low and shameless deeds of all those who are apparently employed to make trouble to a most honourable lady of our country.  When there appears to be very double standard by the related authority we have to strongly demand that it is only fair and just she should be protected from such open and savage harassment.

A Stupid Argument?

I just parted with a friend due to a quarrel on religious belief. She is a fervent christian while I am sort of atheist but liberal in talking of religious beliefs. We have talked of many subjects and I have been very candid with her not concealing anything and speak straight from my heart so to say.  She has been very talkative and has been quite a good listener at times. But this time it involves the subject of belief in relation to a phenomenon in her mother's critical illness that led to her stressing her strong belief in God stating that there was an evil spirit which caused her mother's ear to produce strange noises and peculiar sound. I on my part strongly denied there was any evil spirit whatsoever and stressed my stand as an theist while she maintained there was evil spirit and that God exists and so on and so forth.  In the heat of argument, she emphasised her viewpoint of God and everlasting life while I of course maintain my atheist stand until at last she broke off the argument by hanging up and thus ended our friendship right there. I don't regret it either because I still have to be honest to myself and to others in the matter of beliefs.

No Quarrels With Religions?

Is it a good policy to leave religions alone to avoid getting into troubles? I think it nearly the same as burying our heads in the sand. Nowadays, religious people are very active and aggressive in every corner of the earth.  They seek to propagate their beliefs with great zeal and piety.  I know many of these young people who really devote the best part of their lives into evangelism and sacrifice. Because of this, I think it time to go against the trend of wasting youth lives in pursuit of fruitless pilgrimages to such faith.  Some extremists would even go so far as to load themselves with bombs and dynamites to blow themselves up in the midst of their enemies to go to heaven by fast lanes. It is time that we the more clear headed thinking more in terms of humanity and good sense to try to say lives from such follies and hopeless pursuits.  In this respect we need to let the people know that the sermons and preaching are not based on fact nor logic. Wake up all men of religious faith and watch out lest you be destroyed this precious living instead of the promised perpetual life!

Bankrupt

I don't want to scare you but I think in the rate that things are going at this moment, I am afraid we may be facing bankruptcy soon. Big spending is simply allocated to cronies without any open tenders even though the projects are being handled very inefficiently wasting much time causing traffic jams etc., and we greatly wander where the big bonus comes from unless the cronies hand out some cash which comes from the treasury anyway. Mismanagement, corruption etc have now drained the nation dry and we may soon be in hot water even before 2020.  A great pity that majority would still be able to live to witness this tragedy just because of the terribly greedy nature of some big-appetite bosses up there.

Fixed Deposit States?

Our East Malaysian States have been named as fixed deposit states of BN government and now it seems this statement needs a lot of modification and amendments because the fixed deposits are being eroded and overdrawn to the extent that the balances are very negligible and certainly cannot sustain the huge demand for additional payments which are not forthcoming at all.  First we see the crumbling of the old faith in the urban areas, then come the mixed zones and now it is certainly a dangerous trend of the strong opposition support extending to the rural areas.  People cannot be perpetually fooled by lies and threats nor even carrot and stick can help. All people of our two states have opened our eyes and see clearly who are those who have syphoned off so much of our natural resources and national treasury and who has abused their powers for so long.  Corruption and misrule has to stop and let us choose who to trust for the new term!

A Poor Millionaire

Ah Tai is no doubt a millionaire or even in the rank of billionaire because his properties have appreciated greatly that he is now worth more than a billion. But it is a pity that he has now succumbed to a troublesome illness that has made his life not much worth living having to go for painful treatment for four hours four times a week.  Being a widower, he has long ago been living a very much restricted life mostly confined to his own house and now to just his bed.  Although he has made his own name well known to many having served in some clannish associations yet due to his quite secluded life he makes very few friends nor is he known for any philanthropic acts.  He now regrets he has not been able to do anything beneficial to the community nor even to improve his own living conditions.  That  is why when there is chance try to do good to others as and when you can is a good policy.Living like a Shylock leaving all wealth to off springs who might not even appreciate or know how to use wisely. Therefore it would be very important to know what you want exactly in life. Make ourselves living proper lives and at least our existence would be beneficial to the community as a whole and not just live to eat.
