Beware of Conmen In The Internet!

The other day when I was surfing the Internet checking emails, I was attracted by an active advertisement offering to give away Ipad for answering some easy questions. I clicked on it and then was told to give them my hand phone number which I did. Then I was given some easy questions such as the capital of Egypt or the longest river of the world and when I had finished answering quite a number of them, then came harder questions and naturally I failed. The message encouraged me to continue to answer more questions urging on and on until I sent them nearly 70 Sm's and finally I gave up. But one thing I didn't realise it was a con man's job and at the end of the month I was charged over RM300 because each SM'S sent to that special number cost $4.--. I think I am not the only one who met with such misfortune of being fooled into such scandalous trap. I therefore warn all Internet surfers to be forewarned of such advertisements popping out  at anytime. I think such con men should be exposed and banned for using Internet to cheat people. Never click on such advertisements offering free hand phones, ipads and other luring things or even girls.

  1. It is very bad that the handphone network should allow such clearly cheating cases to happen using their handphone network into such traps just to earn more income from the tricky asnd bogus offers. Condemn them and let all who know about this tell their friends not to be conned into such tricks for fleesing the unaware users.
