Time & Tide Wait For No Man
While the ruling clique is still daydreaming and tries to repeat using the old dirty tricks of stirring up racial hatred and tension, the ordinary people are waking up and have become outspoken beyond expectation. You would be surprised to hear the dissenting voices from Sabah complaining of the hideous sum of money supposed to be political donation and they tried to ask why their branches have no share!? Now there is a woman from the down-trodden party bravely fought the Boss saying that she would not step down as what she did was for the common good of the people and greeting to the opposition members could not constitute any sin. Anyway, we can see that the time has changed and Malaysia will undergo a drastic change for the better . Only those ostriches in the ruling clique still think that there would not be any change as they are afraid of change which would cause them to lose their vested interests and high , lucrative positions. But this time the hurricane would bring drastic changes and they would be soon swept away into the Ocean.

Abuse of Powers
It is time to seek fresh mandate from the people and we wonder how they think they can fresh mandate as they have time and again abused the powers from the voters. This is not the first time, they have abused the powers numerous times for over half a century. It is too long in power that they take things for granted and suppose people are fools and easily bribed or threatened into submission. No this time men, we can see everywhere signs of unrest and dissatisfaction. Small people from everywhere all learn of the big and small scandals and all the spoils of corruption too horrible to narrate. As we read in the Tales of two cities that this is the best of times and the worst of times and the last struggle , we will now break off the iron shackles and chains, and be free again after such a long long corrupt rule!

Might Speaks Louder Than Words
I think it is especially true in the conflict in the Middle East. It seems every time there is so called conflicts, the Palestinians are always the losers and victims. Although the land now occupied by Palestinians had been once inhabited by the Jews but due to historical reasons, it is unfair to drive the long time inhabitants there from their long established homes to give way to the Israelites for the building of their Zionists homeland. If this can be done then the Red Indians in the American continents should take back all the North and South Americas and drive out all white men to build a United States of Red Indians. The United States being supported by the richest Israelites in their State has to carry out their Bosses' wishes and no American President can survive without the monetary support of the richest elites in their own country who are no other than the Jews. It is unfair to the Palestinians all along so that we have the terrorists' bombing in the United States and elsewhere because the war machines of the US and their allies are too strong for the poor Palestinians so that they can only use human bombs, car bombs and plane bombs...... When the powerful countries can bully them with war machines, they can only fight with whatever they have in their hands. They are forced to be terrorists it seems. Thence talking of world peace is a luxury and mockery!

Money Isn't Everything
Money is very important and with it you can go a long way in life but it does not mean money is all powerful because there are still a lot of things that money can't play any part at all. When you have come to a stage where you have lots and lots of money you will find that money can't do very much in many things. That is why some people after getting riches turn to religions for consolation and to find the meaning of life therein. Well, there is one big reason that we should not put too much emphasis on making money especially not at the expense of losing our own principles and our conscience. Life means more to us than just wealth and while we may not find the meaning of life so easily it certainly mean wealth alone can solve all.

No Worry At All
Worry makes us old and happiness refresh us spiritually and physically to face this reality. After going all out to make studies and talking to people, I now find that the world especially this part of the world is changing fast and before we know it we are seeing twilight in the east and there are many signs that people have waken up and they are no more confused and perplexed because they are now no fools. Though we are intellectuals and well-informed yet we ourselves seem not to be able catch up with the time to follow the fast tempo of change in this country. Before we realise it we would soon be caught in a whirlpool of change to our world beyond recognition. It seems we have to adapt to the changing world as best we can or else we would be left behind.

The Calmnest Before The Storm
While our outside world is changing fast with all the revolutions, rebellions and demonstrations many a corrupt governments are toppled and new governements are set up. We are a relatively calm and peaceful country and it seems we all are satisfied with our system but on close watch and analysis, we would find that ours is a peaceful outlook with a very strong under current which would soon erupt and sweep away all the debris and rotten regime once and for all. Enough is enough, so it is time that we all give a hand in this great task of cutting down the half a century old termite ridden tree and let us all rejoice in the coming blue sky and the bright Sun!

No Quarrel With Beliefs?
Not long ago, I quarrelled with a friend on her belief and she was so infuriated by me for categorically out ruling the existence of her religious belief and the existence of such thing as God etc she broke of our friendship and even cursed me for disturbing her pious thoughts still in her mourning period for her late mother. While I did apologise for my untimely arguments, I still maintain my atheist stand. In fact after my explanation for my holding to my principles and the intention being not to hurt her she finally accepted and we are good friends again. It must be pointed out that I have many friends, colleagues, co-workers, neighbours and acquaintances who are devoted Christians or Buddhists etc, I also respect them for their beliefs and many of them are practising the universal love for fellow beings and many of them are really doing good for whatever reason which I do not bother to enquire into. What I hold in my own belief is the principle that we should not be misled by hearsay and unproven tales especially the traditional fairy tales and the archaic superstitions. My principle is just simple and straight forward; I only believe the truth and truth logically and scientifically proven. Although you may believe in all those religions without harm yet it is a folly to think that you can get what you want from Heaven by praying piously. It is also a waste of time and resources to dig into the ancient fairy tales just to find any trace of the crossing of the Red Sea etc. Is it not better to do research into the possibility of transforming the micro-organisms in the oceans into food for the benefit of mankind?

A Pitiable Old Guy
My friend is indeed a pitiable man as he has lost his only son who was kidnapped many years ago and still unaccounted for. His wife turned into vegetable woman after a serious car accident. The only comfort to him is the welcoming back of his adopted son who graduated with a medical degree from Russia. Well, it would be a very happy life only if there is no twist to his fate. He recently alienated his adopted son simply because he does not like the girl friend and they fought a cold war because of this. I advised him not to interfere with his love affair which is his personal choice and it certainly would worsen their relationship because of his stubborn attitude. He finally listened to me and at least he would not try to openly quarrel with the son. I feel at last he has seen to it that he should not be over bearing in this delicate issue. I do hope their father-son relationship would be repaired for the good of their family.
What Is Wrong With Our World?
What is wrong with our world and economy? We read the news of people jumping down to commit suicide after their houses were being foreclosed by banks or financial institutions. Thiis happens everyday in badly hit Greece and followed by many others around the globe. What is wrong with our world? It seems communism can hardly find a solution to the crisis nor can capitalism, so what else?

My Own Experience
The problem of corruption has been very serious since time immemorial in this country and there is no need to hide this sad fact. I am ashamed to say that I also assisted in the corruption practice to get out of inconvenience and to speed out some matters. Although I had only paid out 10 ringgits to avoid being ticketed for a small traffic offence, I think it had enough that I have committed an offence that I myself abhore the most. Further my friend confided to me he had paid out 20,000 ringgits just to get his land being approved for sub-division for housing project. We as citizens should not only sit back and point accusing fingers at those corrupt officers instead we should do our part not to bribe them when we actively expose them. Let's all try to do our part in stamping out corrupt practices and weed out the corrupt officials no matter how senior they may be!

Fidelity Should Be Observed
I think it very abnormal that the badminton champion should neglect his father in his happy and grand marriage inviting all the dignitaries including the highest heads of the government. We do not know what has transpired in his family or whatever has happened to their father-son relationship but I see no reason why he was not invited . This is a very bad example to our Chinese tradition of filial loyalty and greatly damage his image in our country men's hearts. It certainly is the duty of the son to explain this matter.

Change Of Thinking & Mentality
We now have witnessed another change in USA and that is none other than the racial bias. You would agree that it is unthinkable for any negro to get elected in USA in the olden times in USA but now he has not only been elected by re-elected to rule for another term against a white man. It is a great change of thinking in USA and also more or less affecting other countries. It would no surprise us to say that a non-Malay can be elected to be the Prime Minister of Malaysia in time to come and we would not be surprised it could even be the next prime minister you bet. Who would ever think that the all powerful UMNO now seems not to able to command the loyalty of their own race? When the country is apparently being misruled and the nationals' interest jeopardised, naturally people would rethink and change their mentality for better survival and struggle to improve their future and that of their offspring. So those in power have to do some hard thinking if they still daydream and try to rack in as much loot as possible they would soon be kicked out.
