Minorities Have Rights Also

I think I would tend to agree with Auyang Wen Fon that there is nothing to stop the minorities to enjoy their human rights even if they are not the same as others.  The religious people especially the Christian world is not sincere in their objection to the homosexuals by quoting the verses from the Bible whereas they dare not say anything against the other religion allowing their followers to take four wives. This is polygamy and certainly against human rights and dignity.

Helping the Warmongers?

The fact that America chose this time to wage a war exercise jointly with the Japanese is a clear sign that the USA is bent on siding with the aggressors and Obama has proved to be the enemy no one of all the right thinking people and the Chinese of the whole world regardless of their political allegiance. It is tantamount to assisting the off springs of the slave traders in their evil design to weaken the Chinese.  You will see no justice in the American democracy at all and there is no more allusion on this. Let all just and right thinking people join together to condemn the shameful act of the American warlords.

Should Christians Take Part in Politics?

Some pastors are of the opinion that as religious leaders they should only talk in terms of religions and do not care about politics. I think this is very wrong because we are all part of the larger community of all kinds of people and we are all being subject to all the rules and constitution of the nation. Although you may say you don't care for politics but the politics will control you in many ways and in fact we are being forced to follow all the rules etc. So when the rulers are biased and unjust we have to go against them and we must not keep silent otherwise we would be seen to be part of the greedy regime.  We have seen how an archbishop helped to topple the corrupt Marcos, we have seen other religious people have been joining the multitude to bring down many corrupt rulers in the Arab and Middle East countries so I see no reason why religious men can't take part in the just struggle to cleanse the nation of the sinful and corrupt leaders who have been sucking the blood of the country.

Say What You Like

Say what you like, all things love me. From every quarter of the country, we find good signs of wakening up to the new emerging forces of the popular voice, shake off the old shackles and live like men. No doubt people everywhere now know that they have been subject to all sorts of oppression, cheating, humiliation and what not under the establishment which has clearly decayed after so many years of absolute rule. From their own rank also come out many who are now enlightened and know the truth and the facts which set them free from the old tradition of following the chieftains and the headmen. I have talked to the rank and file and sense a great change of the attitude of people who no longer take things for granted and would not be afraid to expose the evil designs of the bad leaders. Their days are numbered.

A Promising Sign

We are witnessing a new air of growth in the opposition camp with the infusion of fresh young blood and this is really promising and healthy growth of the new emerging forces. We need all forces to push out the decaying reactionary establishment which though shaky still need all possible joint effort to push down.

Sportsmanship

I think the reaction of some people should be condemned as they posted rather critical comments and pictures just to ridicule Lee Chong  Wei. I think it is time to remind that there should be sportsmanship in games and it is too much to expect someone to achieve gold medal and we should accept the fact that there are losers and winners in every competition and this is one of them. Certainly he should not be blamed for the failure as he has clearly displayed his skills and effort in this match. The presence of someone high up does not make any difference. I think a silver medal is good enough for medal scare country like ours. Lee has done his best and should be praised for his fighting spirit.

Welfare States?

It seems that some European countries cannot meet their financial commitments because they are paying too much to their citizens and public servants in all sorts of welfare and remunerations. In some they literally rob the rich and pay the poor or lazy folks. I do not insult the poor but only comment on those social parasites depending on their countries to feed them while not doing any work at all even when they are still fit and strong. In some extreme case they just indiscriminately engage in sexual relationship , some under aged as a result lots of children are born to such couples many out of wedlock causing heavy burden to the national treasury.  Now it seems the problem is no more exploitation of the capitalists , there is room of rethinking and transformation in the isms to solve the social problems.
