Investment In Unit Trust Or Structure Funds ?

Now that the interest on fixed deposit with banks is very low generally and so bank staff take the opportunity to push the sale of various unit trusts , structured funds and other investments you name it they have it. But beware what you invest in may bring you no return at all and in some cases your own capital would melt away by substantial amount of even 30% or more in extreme cases. The canvassers should be blamed in some cases when they push the sales without elucidating the danger to the unaware and unsophisticated investors.  It is time to be alert to such danger of losing your capital in some investments which you don't quite understand. The bank staff on the other hand should not push the complex investments to their customers especially those who are senile and cannot comprehend the complexity of such risky investments. Look before you leap or invest!
