Be More Objective in Attitude!

I have just come across a peculiar character in literary circle. He has no doubt gone through a difficult time in his student days and when he came out to work as a temporary teacher in an independent Chinese school, he also suffered persecution over and over. He is leftist alright but he certainly is a peculiar one with rather diehard ideas.  For example, he is one who carries out his personal campaign against homosexuals and condemns anyone who may be just holding a liberal view on this subject. Sometimes you would think he looks more like a Confucious old scholar than an advanced thinking man once in the fight against the old establishment. He can write a lot but now growing old he seems to be more concentrated in posting some photoes taken in his many a tour especially of the places of the Long March.  He likes to recite some famous poems of Mao Tze Tung and Guo Mo Lou and some stories of good samaritans but of course he is a vowed atheist. It is now found that he becomes more and more narrow-minded and stubborn as he grows in years . He cannot tolerate any comments at all in his blog and would readily call his commentators names such as reactionaries, selfish guys, pretenders and what not. But in actual fact in real life he has not done anything really great to conform to his ideals. He shirks others and is not in any groups whether legal or underground. Perhaps the only good is what he writes so far is still leftist in nature but his personal life and personal relationship with his friens, relatives are far from satisfactory at all.  I would say he is really confining himself to his own world more like a hermit. But it is best that we leave him alone or he could go after you like bees from a disturbed beehive havoring over you without end! The way he treats his opponents is far from fair and just as he himself always protests against for he makes groundless attacks referring to the comments made by other bloggers but he never quotes a sincere contest of the comments in question thus leaving the readers unaware the gist of the polemics..
