Dreams

All of us have dreams; daydreams, night dreams and wild dreams. We often have all sorts of ideals and fancies but at the end there is no action and nothing is achieved. Well lots of people have their fanciful young days and young dreams but very few can carry out their ideals. In the end when they sit down to recollect and reminiscence, they would finally find they have not actually contributed much to the society and although they have joined in heated arguments on how to change the society yet they themselves have nothing more than paying lip service to the society. When too old to even utilise their wealth they wonder what the purpose of life is. So while there is still time why not apply some effort and time for the service of the society to make it a better place for the future generations.

Do We Have The Right To Know?

40 million ringgits is not a small sum. Do we have any right to know how this big sum comes about and who is the person(s) , the donors or any outsiders or even foreigners or foreign countries being so generous as to donate to the authority in power?  Even simpletons know that the donors must have a purpose or many purposes. It is very very important to be transparent in this or otherwise we naturally think that it is fishy business or under table exchange etc.  Is it not a good advice to those who want to ask for another term?

No Shame?

We all heard about a king being fooled by some crafty  tailor to wear a see through dress to go round the kingdom and he was not ashamed at all as nobody dared to say the truth that he was naked. Now we have a modern King who was not ashamed because he was assured by his henchmen that people could not see what he had done: stealing huge amount of money from the national treasury by way of outright donations, contributions, commissions , over-riding commissions, service fees and a lot of other fees you name it they have it.  When he was cheated by his servants that the people around were all blind and ignorant enough and it was perfectly safe so long as he could give out some small particles of sweets or carrots, he would still be honoured as the kind and merciful King of the modern time.  So we are seeing the naked King again in our modern drama.

Big Means No Case?

The other day, one person was jailed and fined for accepting RM10.- bribe but now we have a big man carrying RM40 millions apparently some sort of contribution or aid or donations or whatever you may name it arrested outside this country but there is no case to answer for and this is a big man with big purpose? What can you say? I don't have any idea....

Cowgate?

It is very funny that we have just witnessed some puppet shows that leave most people more than perplexed that  they are just staging shows with no sincerity . Why then should these investigations be carried out? Well just for show  so that we would be fooled to believe them. But do you think voters would believe them any more? Well you know only too well they would be very very disappointed this time!

A Fairy Tale

In this modern fairy tale, we have a prince who married a princess and all would be well as they would be expected to live together happily ever after. But somehow or other the prince besides having lots of girl friends and concubines recently was attracted to a very beautiful lady and according to their customs, he could just ask the wife to get out of the house. But this wife was not a simple kampong girl and she was very angry that her husband was not faithful to her and moreover wanted to kick her out. She went to a lawyer who told her she could sue for divorce and get half share of the prince's properties which according to her came to billions of ringgits.  Now that the prince was not willing to negotiate and ignored all requests for settlement. Finally the case was put to the open court and with that the whole lots of details of wealth became an open secret and the wealth of the prince's family became a topic of nine years' wonder and hot topic of the towns and kampongs. Whatever was revealed in the open court would tantamount to clear and iron evidence when accepted by the court. When it came to the richest man of  Asean, who else could dispute the status of the prince and his father.  Well the fairy tale is still just the beginning  and  people would be very interested as to the outcome of this legal battle as it involved billions and billions of ringgits in hard cash and much more in properties around the globe. So somebody must be real of good substance to be Abie to amass wealth second to none in the whole of Southeast Asia. God bless the King!

Americans Should Be Blamed For Messing up Diaoyu islands

From the history, we now learnt that the USA has made a big blunder by handing over the Diayu Islands to Japanese after the 2nd world war in the absence of Chiang Kai Sek, the then head of the Republic of China.  Now they pretend to be neutral and would not take any part in the dispute when they can simply admit their mistake and rectify it by returning the islands to China or Taiwan.  I think when the people of the world can force the Japanese to return the islands to China by boycotting Japanese goods, I think it is high time that all Chinese should start to boycott  American goods to force Obama to ratify the mistake.
